Review: Mr. Queen (2020)

When he wakes up, he finds himself inside the body of a Joseon Queen. THE GOOD IT. WAS. HILARIOUS. ALL CAPS para intense.😂 I don't think I've ever seen a South Korean drama that was as funny as Mr. Queen. But don't take this show lightly just because it's a comedy. If you watch it, you'll see that it's full of substance. I loved how cooking/food blended with its political theme because I personally believe that food can be a great instrument in achieving world peace. ✌  That's just me though.  Geun-de,  I've seen in MQ that it could actually be possible.  The actors, main and supporting, were all fantastic. Review: The Uncanny Counter (2020)

Photo: OCN Rating: ★★★★☆ Huhu meter: ▮▮ ▯ ▯ ▯ Genre: Fantasy, Thriller Main Cast:  Joe Byeong-Gyu, Yu Jun-Sang, Kim Se-Jeong, Yum Hye-Ran SYNOPSIS A group of Counters are tasked to fight off evil spirits that possess humans with tendencies to commit crimes. When one of them dies in a battle with an extremely strong evil spirit, he was immediately replaced with a high school student.  The Counters are disguised as a family with a very popular hole-in-the-wall noodle restaurant. Their powers include sensing humans possessed with evil spirits, reading people's memories, extreme strength, and an ability to heal others quickly. THE GOOD The Uncanny Counter is an engaging thriller with satisfying fight scenes. The effects were pretty cool too. Actors: All actors, main and supporting, were great. Joe Byeong-Gyu was surprising for me since I just saw him with a fun role in Hot Stove League. Key takeaways: There were a lot of bullying scenes in TUC so this is one of the major takeaways...
